Vocational Education
TOBINWORLD provides a vocational focus to the Individual Educational Plan of every student. We have several "hands-on" vocational educational training programs on campus, including the Baskin-Robbins training facility, Toby's Caf, facility maintenance and transportation fleet maintenance. Working side by side, the students learn the valuable job skills of sharing ideas and experience, as well as getting along with co-workers. Under the guidance of teachers and job coaches, they are given positive encouragement to confidently try out a new job task and learn new skills. In the classroom, vocational skills are acquired through the frequent use of the computer in drill practice and publication of their own writing and class brochures.
